Company

Our division GFI was established in 1953 and is located in Pointe-Claire, Montreal-West, Quebec. An operating unit of ABB Electrification Canada Inc., today we are one of the most technologically advanced sheet metal companies in Canada. Our services range from engineering to assembly. No one knows stamping and sheet metal manufacturing better than GFI.

We are proud to be one of the first sheet metal manufacturers certified ISO in Canada.

Overview

No one knows die making and metals better than GFI. Our core manufacturing capabilities make us unique in our ability to satisfy the demand for precision, metal-stamped components and assemblies for both domestic and overseas OEMs, as well as second and third tier suppliers in the telecommunication, electronic, aerospace / military and land transportation markets.

By combining cost-effective manufacturing and integration, GFI offers value-added fabrication in areas such as CNC laser and turret punching, CNC forming, stamping, welding, painting (powder and wet line) and silk-screening. Backed by in-house CAD/CAM systems, including CATIA, we can support you in the prototyping phase of the product development cycle as well.

With our advanced quality planning techniques, our extensive tool-building resources and our well experienced tool and die makers, we're prepared to meet your changing requirements. For custom designs, we have the expertise in-house to assist you in design, manufacturing, tooling and assembly.
